History

Connect past events to present understanding through daily inquiry prompts.

About This Subject

History warmups help students develop the habits of historical thinking: sourcing, contextualizing, corroborating, and close reading. Daily prompts move students beyond memorizing facts toward genuine historical analysis and argumentation.

How Do Now Warmups Works

Prompts present primary or secondary sources, maps, timelines, or historical questions that students analyze in 5–10 minutes. Responses build the skills assessed on unit tests, DBQs, and standardized exams.

Aligned to National Standards
